June babies unite! It's our 12th birthday!
In 2009, at the end of the noughties, after seeing a rise in demand for DD+ underwear brands as well as seeing the lack of representation of the average female body especially those with a fuller bust, Curvy Kate was born!
The sizes ranged from a 28"-40" band, D-J cup, and Curvy Kate was one of the first of it's kind, passionate about selling underwear for the more realistic body of modern times for women at that time and beyond.
The one & only Gemma Collins showed us love on Instagram stories, raving about our lingerie and how she loves to wear matching sets...who doesn't love looking put together underneath clothing?! The GC certainly does!
2011 saw a major win for CK - we won Fuller Bust Brand of the Year at the UK Lingerie Awards, propelled to success by our ICONIC Star in a Bra competition, where women who have naturally curvy realistic bodies compete to become the face of Curvy Kate and win a years supply of lingerie. These gorgeous women went on to become beautiful influencers/models which warms our hearts!
CK has been spreading body positivity for over a decade and we don't plan on stopping!

meaning there's 250,000 CK babes out there loving and supporting Curvy Kate and we cannot be more thankful!
Katie Bizzak returned to Curvy Kate for our Girls Night SS20 campaign, and blessed our Instagram feeds, won the Star in the Bra competition in 2013, still empowering fuller bust women across the pond in the US.
As we approached mid-decade, our sexy sister fuller bust brand, Scantilly was born, empowering women from a DD-HH cup and 30"-38" band. In fact, in 2020 our sales for Scantilly were up 95% YOY - we SLAYED the home life!
And if that wasn't enough, our now best selling strapless bra Luxe
, was launched in 2015 - known for it's magic power to not only hold your girls up with minimal slippage, there will also be no nip-slips or wardrobe malfunctions in sight with this baby!

where she invited many exciting guests from CK babes like Lauren Colfer
and influencers such as Chloe of @styledby.chloe
who starred in our In My Dreams campaign for our new bralette.
Speaking of bralettes, these were a customer favourite for WFH pandemic life, our Twice the Fun
bralettes were constantly selling out, meaning the CK spirit shined through the darkest times.
